I love to play, wines older than I am, plane tickets to foreign countries and a long, hard ... rub. I enjoy sewing and clothing design, mostly for other people. I'm fiercely loyal to my friends and have a short temper with people who don't play nicey-nice. I can soothe the savage beast, then rip its heart out, all while smiling a *sweetgentlesmile*.

I built The Masque to provide authors and artists a safe place to explore their sensuality and for friends, new and old, to chat. 'The Masque' was chosen for its three definitions. I liked masks, but had only made a few when I was in high school. I was a theater major and a "masque" is a type of theater production/party game that I thought was both silly and delightful with singing, dancing, allegory, and silly stories written to compliment the players and patrons - it was a great theme for a chat room. I also love a good party with great costumes. The WIKtT Archives was inherited as a way to preserve the stories contained in the archive and then added to with love. The Garden was built with a desire to teach safe and sane ways of living, loving, and playing in the BDSM Lifestyle. 

The courtesan’s palazzo theme came from the mask thought. Having lived in Milan, Italy, I had traveled to Venice several times and loved the intricate masks. The history of the city is fascinating and I've always enjoyed delving into it. Being the prurient sort, I very much enjoyed the seedier side of Carnival and its history. The city was one rife with courtesans in the Italian Renaissance - thus the theme for the site was born.

I use Benevolent Goddess because I thought Bitch Goddess would be a bit much, but am also called simply Goddess, or BG in some cases, or just Cis. I enjoy standing around looking pretty in interesting places while wearing very nice shoes and am married to a nice man who is doing just what he was asked nicely to do and I adore him.
