Thank you for this lovely piece. A part of me is disappointed that there isn't more. This feels like the foundations (of trust between Hermione and Professor Snape) needed for a bigger story.
However, I can see the merrit of leaving it here, just as a tender message of what a little warmth can do to make life easier.
I enjoyed your writing style and would love to read another long story from you!

Good excuse you came up with for Hermione to be sure of whom Lily is even though she's pretty sure. What will she do with the knowledge of knowing whom Lily was?
Great idea of Snape being able to see the incident at Grimauld place and to view it again! It gives him greater clarity and understanding on her actions.
I like the background you've created for Lucius and Snape - it leads to and kind of explains why Narcissa goes to him and asks him to take the Unbreakable Vow in HBP.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
