An inkling of hope that Lavinia is going to find her own way out of her trauma eventually! I just hope the return of the Master doesn't mess her recovery up. It's a tough balance- she can't be coddled but clearly she needs to be comforted, too. It's all going to depend on how far she gets when he returns, and how he treats her. This continues to be a fascinating and well-written story.

It sounds like Lavinia is inching her way towards rehabilitation of sorts. Poor Lavinia! I hope she has success (and fun!) on her "sensory diet". I like the way you balance the Master's compassion with his dominance- a tricky distinction to pull off, but as explained by Helena and Hermia, well done. I have high hopes that she'll enjoy having a real Master instead of a sadistic psychopath, and that he'll be pleased with her progress. Please update soon!

I'm intrigued! Poor Lavinia certainly has only known cruelty and torture, and she's about to (hopefully, after some confusion and resistance on her part), learn the difference between her old Master's abuse and the new Master's domination.

The formatting is a bit wonky, with no spacing between paragraphs, which makes reading a bit difficult. I don't know if that was a glitch or just and oversight, but your writing is so good, that it's a shame to have something detracting from it like that.

I look forward to reading about her reeducation with her two lovely tutors, and, eventually, her first session with the Master.
