I love this story. I love this story. Okay, chanting is silly. Your imagery is lovely, your voices are true to Jossian myth and your characters are perfect. It's like reading the first episodes of a Buffy story arc on a spoiler site.

Caught, I love how this story twists and turns like an episode or short arc in the Buffy series. The use of magic, logic and the always Jossian "well, let's try it and see what happens - we might die, but ... okie dokie" is wonderful. You capture the voices and language use so perfectly that I can hear the characters in my head in the actors' voices. Your imagery is also delightful, with a lovely mix of dialoge, thought and scene setting. I always look forward to your updates.
